Dreaming into Being...
As a child, Cathy's best friend was a beautiful, tall old Silver Birch tree in her family garden. This majestic tree became her castle, ship, or steed as she daydreamed and journeyed to imaginary far off lands. A lifetime of seeking and soul searching has taken her on a diverse journey from studying drama, film and television, through community work to yoga and healing, working consciously within the human energy field, sharing her understanding and experiences with her clients.
Barbara Brennan's four year scientific energy based healing course and three years of 'Walking the Shamans Path' were deeply experiential, enabling Cathy and fellow students to really get to know themselves, each other and how they connected. Along with many years of studying and teaching Iyengar yoga, followed by more years of Scaravelli inspired yoga and meditation, Cathy's training and life experiences enable her to work knowledgeably and holisticaly. She has held yoga and healing courses and workshops in Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Kenya, Tanzania, England and Wales and more recently Iceland and Spain. Along with other healers she set up and ran a Wellbeing retreat centre in Wales before moving to Brighton to establish a practice.
Recent world events decided Cathy upon fulfilling a life-long dream and she is now based in Orgiva in Southern Spain where she feels very at home. Having moved to a beautiful location just outside Órgiva, Cathy has dreamed into being a healing support centre for holding retreats, workshops and events and offering healing holidays. You are welcome to call or arrange a zoom meeting to discuss options for mini retreats and healing holidays at affordable prices. The now completed yogashala, provides a beautiful warm inside space for yoga and workshops whilst still being totally connected to the natural landscape. The roof terrace and Era (ancient stone threshing circle) provide perfect outdoor spaces for a variety of activities including drumming circles and ceremonies.
